“Every kingdom divided against itself
will be laid waste and house will fall against house.”
If you spend
any significant amount of time working with people, either at work or church,
you are likely at some time to encounter conflicts and divisions. Churches may be divinely inspired, but they
are run by all-too-human men and women, which means they are vulnerable to
misunderstandings and divisions. Nothing can more stressing than people at odds
with each other or a community divided. Forgiveness and reconciliation can be
lots of hard work, but the resulting peace can be well worth it.
